Most people do not know that the famous architect, Frank Lloyd Wright, was commissioned to design and construct a home that resembles a “Mayan temple set in a jungle ravine”. Even more extraordinary is that it still stands in Pasadena, California. Frank Lloyd Wright enjoyed creating “La Miniatura” so much, he was quoted as saying, “I would rather have built this little house than St. Peter’s in Rome.”

This unique structure will be open for a rare tour on Saturday, January 26, 2008 from 10 a.m. till 5 p.m. Lunch can be bought on site and enjoyed in the gardens surrounding the home.

Even considering the admission price of $50 per person, this event is sure to sell out. You can save $20 per ticket by becoming a member of the Gamble House. Buy your tickets in advance by clicking this link.
